My name is Bridget Brennan Tolson and I live in Pennsylvania. At 27 years old, I was single and wanted to have it all. I was diagnosed with PCOS at the young age of 15. Since I worked as a fertility nurse at Main Line Fertility for many years after nursing school, I knew I had to take matters in my own hands and be proactive. I ultimately decided to freeze my eggs, which was the best decision I could have ever made for my future family.

I was able to freeze 18 eggs in 2013. Since freezing my eggs, I married my best friend and love of my life Tyler. Shortly after getting married, we decided to start trying for our family right away. Due to my diagnosis of PCOS, we immediately sought help with fertility treatments. We were successful in conceiving our first child via IUI.

When we decided to expand our family and had a strong desire to have another child, we went back and used my frozen eggs from when I was 27 years old. We created 8 embryos from my 18 frozen eggs and genetically tested them with PGS/PGD/PGT testing. From the 8 embryos, we learned 5 were chromosomally normal. We used one healthy embryo which yielded a pregnancy for our second child. We have 4 embryos remaining that are currently in long-term cryopreservation storage.

Overwhelmed by all the freedom after freezing my eggs, I was inspired to create an educational platform and website called EGGVICE. I focus is helping women and couples understand their fertility options with reproductive education and bringing awareness to infertility issues. I want you to empower yourself with knowledge and take proactive steps to formulate a plan in order to make the best choices today which will allow the best options tomorrow which is priceless.
